After what seemed like an eternity of nonstop turmoil, Liam and I had finally managed to carve out a little space for ourselves. Due to the fact that our seventh wedding anniversary was approaching, we were in desperate need of a getaway. Raising three active children, working full-time jobs, and most recently living with his mother, Judith, when a fire destroyed our kitchen… all of these things had taken their toll on him physically and emotionally.
As a result, we did not hesitate to take advantage of the opportunity to go on a holiday to Maui for a week. There are no children. There are no requirements.
There are no in-laws. Just Liam and I, how it used to be when we were together. Are you referring to the first three days?
Unquestionably a heaven. We slept in late. Drinking coffee on our own terrace with a view of the beach was a relaxing activity.
Under the warm rays of the sun, we sipped delicious drinks and strolled hand in hand along the shoreline illuminated by the moon. The sensation of falling in love all over again was evoked by each and every kiss. I was able to spend some time alone with my hubby.
