‘I went to lesbian s*x club to let my hair down – but something awkward happened’

Racy content creator Nova Hawthorne is known for getting sėxy as a webcam model.

However, the adult star has admitted that having a saucy job can often get in the way of your own love life.

The 29-year-old is one of Australia’s top adult stars, making $30,000 (£24,000) last week alone, thanks to her hot livestreams. However, she says it’s sometimes all work and no play for her.

The redhead said that despite getting racy for her job, she lost her own sėxuality along the way. The stunner said: “I was going through this period where I didn’t feel in control of my own sėxual identity or my sėx life, that every encounter I had was for work.

And so I thought, ‘Okay, I need to just drop the persona and go enjoy my personal sėx life.”

Nova continued telling Yahoo! Lifestyle: “It’s hard because you do enjoy your professional sėx life at times, so I needed to kind of make this distinction.

That this is not business, there’s no cameras, this is like a totally wild experience that is just for me, and I’m not going to share this with my online audience.”

To reclaim her sėxuality and have some fun, Nova – who identifies as bisėxual – headed to a lesbian night at a sėx club. However, things didn’t go exactly to plan.

“Within the first five minutes, we were all naked, we were sitting in hot tubs, and I was going to be introducing myself by my actual legal name,” she explained.

“But before I even got a chance to do that, someone shouted across the hot tub at me and said, ‘Are you Nova Hawthorn?’.

“At that moment, I realised that I wouldn’t be able to relax or switch off, and I felt that I had to continue to be Nova because I’d already been recognised and I didn’t want them to be mixed together.”

Nova admits it can be confusing mixing work and pleasure. However, since that encounter, she’s actually decided to do it more.

She said: “I do feel like I have to always be ‘on’, but since that night, I’ve moved to mix my personal and professional lives a bit more, rather than separate them completely.

“It’s simpler for me that way. Plus, I do really want to be authentic with people. I mean, the only thing really fake about me is my name.”

Nova’s latest comments come after she opened up about her OnlyFans earnings to Daily Star back in November last year. She said she loves to spoil her family with her cash, saying: “I help out my family where I can.

“A lavish winery weekend away for my grandparents, school holidays in the city with my niece, hotels and tickets to shows for my mum and sister, helping my brother furnish his first apartment.

“Being able to give my family things they can’t do for themselves makes me happy. I grew up with a really low income family and still have a frugal mindset day to day.”

As well as her family, she’s also been able to pay off her student loans thanks to her racy job, as well as buy an apartment and a block of land.”

She may be struggling to find love, but she’s definitely bossing it financially, that’s for sure!
