Betty said that she had something important to share. After sitting the man’s mother down, Betty revealed that Chris was cheating on the mom with one of their co-workers, Darla. They’d carry out indecent acts in the workplace, and Betty caught them once.
Chris confronted Betty and said that if she ever told the man’s mom and her family, he’d fire her as the store manager. While that was already a lot to take in, she had a cherry to go on top of the cake: Darla was pregnant. The man’s mom was furious.

He said that he was happy Darla was pregnant because then he’d finally have kids. While that would have been the end of the story, the children saw how affected their mom was with the breakup.
She wanted to move on, but her kids wanted revenge. They called the man’s boss to report the indecency happening around the workplace. Ultimately, the boss fired Chris from his position and banned him from the other branches around the area, which he also owned.
Chris moved in with Darla and started working in another franchise in that area. The kids called the owner in that location as well, and while it took a while, he ended up losing the job. One day, Chris drove around the neighborhood, stalking the man’s mom and the rest of the family.
He didn’t have a driver’s license due to his previous DUI. The man called the cops and informed them of Darla’s vehicle being in the neighborhood and shared they had reason to believe Chris was driving it without a license. True enough, cops pulled over beside the car a couple of weeks later, and Chris was behind the wheel.
He served jail time again for driving without a license and while intoxicated. Police also found several guns around the house he was living in. As he was a felon, he wasn’t allowed to own weapons.
This stacked up his jail time, and by the time he was released, Darla cut ties with him. The man concluded that Chris struggled with trying to fight child support payments, which Darla sued him for. The man’s mom has since moved on with a man who deeply cares about his mom.
