Celebrating his 79th birthday on October 30, 2024, Henry Winkler has not only made a lasting mark on Hollywood but also shines as a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
Embracing his role with open arms, Henry frequently shares the joy he finds in grandparenting.

Throughout his years, Henry has crafted a successful career alongside a strong family foundation. Married to Stacey Weitzman since May 1978, the couple raised their children—Max and Zoe Winkler—along with Stacey’s son from her previous marriage, Jed Weitzman.
Having been together for 46 years, Henry and Stacey now take great joy in their roles as grandparents, celebrating the happiness this phase brings.
Currently, Henry has six grandchildren—India, Ace, Lulu, Jules, Gus, and Francis Joan—and another on the way. In a recent interview, the “Happy Days” actor expressed the happiness and meaning grandparenting brings.
“It’s completely different from being a parent, but filled with the same emotion.
Each grandchild is unique, so you approach each differently,” he shared.
Though each grandchild has their own personality, Henry enforces consistent house rules for family gatherings. He mentioned that although there are few rules, they remain the same no matter the visit.
“When our youngest granddaughter is asleep, no fighting or yelling is allowed. And no matter their age, from 14 to 7, everyone clears their plate,” Henry stated.
