John went off to work one day, just as he does every day. He and his wife, Mia, have had a close and happy marriage, but things weren’t always what they seemed.
One day, Mia sends John a picture. She told John that her friend, Vanessa, had taken the picture but John saw something in the photo that wasn’t supposed to be there.
It was a man’s hand that was holding the phone. He was snapping the picture of Mia as she stood there in the robe. You can see it in this picture:
John was shocked with what he saw and he zoomed in again and again to make sure his eyes weren’t playing tricks on him. Suddenly, he realized that his marriage was over. The trust had been broken.
He asked Mia about the photo and she tried to play it off, saying it was a mistake made by a friend but it was too late. He had already made up his mind that the relationship was over.
The moments we share in life are often the most precious. When they are betrayed, such as in this picture, they will stick with us forever. That picture of a man’s hand was the end of their marriage, and he had to ask her for a divorce.
