Sharp, chemical smell.
One of the funeral workers stepped back:
— Lord… there… a corpse! — This… this is no longer a “double bottom.” This… is a crime, — someone exhaled.
The girl’s mother lowered her head. — I don’t know who this is.
He… shouldn’t be there.
The workers turned pale. — Impossible. We received the body sealed.
Everything was closed…
— Who organized the coffin delivery?
— sharply asked one of the men. — Private company.
Through a middleman. The order came electronically.
Full payment in cash.
Pause. Someone took out a phone and called the police. Later, at the police station, it became clear: the man found in the coffin was a former accountant of a construction company, missing for several days.
The company is under investigation for theft, money laundering, and fake contracts.
According to sources, this man was preparing a dossier for the prosecution. Then – disappeared.
The investigation will reveal: a fake funeral company, obtained with forged documents, received the order for “technical delivery” of a sealed coffin. The real girl was buried – yes.
But under her, taking advantage of her real funeral, they hid the body of a man who could have become a key witness.
Only one trace remained – on the plastic wrapping of the second body was a partial glove print. That was enough to start the investigation. The girl’s mother insisted until the end: she knew nothing.
And it was easy to believe – she had barely recovered from her daughter’s death.
But someone exploited this grief, this confusion… and decided that the best place to hide the evidence was where no one would dig – in the grave under another body.
