The renowned model Irina Shayk recently, in an interview for the “Ask Me Anything” section, revealed previously undisclosed details about her personal and professional life.
She shared that her first job was painting several rooms of a hospital for 31 days to afford a pair of high-heeled shoes.
“My first job, I painted several hospital rooms for 31 days because I wanted to buy high-heeled shoes.
It was a summer job. It was very tough because I had to paint from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm every day.
And now I know how to paint, so if you need walls or windows painted, I’m here,” the model said.
On the other hand, Irina disclosed that the first money she earned was spent on her mother, buying her a sofa.
“With the first money I earned, I worked long hours at an exhibition. I think it was a 7-day job, paid $100, and it was a lot of money for me. My mom needed a new sofa, so I collected the money, sent it to her, and she bought it.
She was very happy. So my first earnings went for mom’s new sofa. I wish we still had that sofa, but we don’t,” Shayk expressed.
She is one of the world’s top models, admired and inspiring to a wide audience.
