I SAW A WOMAN IN CHURCH WITH PINK HAIR, AND I JUST CAN’T WRAP MY HEAD AROUND IT. IS IT WRONG THAT I THINK IT’S DISRESPECTFUL?
This past Sunday, I was shocked to see a woman in church with bright pink hair.
I know we live in a time where self-expression is celebrated, but I can’t help feeling like it’s completely out of place in a sacred space like church.
To me, church has always been about modesty and respect, not making bold fashion statements.
After the service, I saw her outside and decided to approach her to politely share my thoughts.
I expressed that I felt her hair color might not be appropriate for church, but to my surprise, she responded rather rudely, telling me that it wasn’t any of my business.
I was taken aback by her reaction.
Now I’m really struggling—am I wrong for speaking up?
Maybe I’m being old-fashioned, but I believe there should be certain standards, especially in church.
Has anyone else experienced something similar?
I would love to hear your thoughts.

Since you ask, I will tell you that I think it was ridiculous and rude of you to criticize her, and I agree with her response.
I agree with Diane. Who told you to represent your church as properly dressed guest? Jesus want us to love those that are different than us. You should have welcomed her and offered your hand. She probably won’t come back
