I’ve been wearing duct tape bras instead of real ones all week…

I have a larger chest, and sleeping in the wrong position can lead to pain when I wake up. The other day, I woke up with severe discomfort that felt like I had pulled a muscle in my chest.

The pain was so intense that I couldn’t move my arm or shoulder without struggling.

The area over my sternum became increasingly sore over the next few days.

Every movement hurt, and shifting my chest, even in a supportive bra, caused significant pain. Even though bras provide support, gravity still affects movement, and this was enough to cause discomfort. I found that holding my chest while bending or walking helped alleviate some of the pain.

In desperation, I tried using duct tape for support, layering it about 10 times.

To my surprise, it was incredibly comfortable. No bands digging into my back, no straps cutting into my shoulders, and no uncomfortable pulling on my chest. It even looked fine under a shirt, so I wore it to work.

Without a shirt, it looked a bit unconventional, though. The tape was mildly irritating to my skin, but still less painful than the alternative. I either shower or sweat it off by the end of the day. It’s not a permanent solution, but for now, it’s working.
