Ingredients:

2 pounds lean ground beef
2 (10.5 ounce) cans condensed cream of chicken soup
1/2 cup Italian seasoned bread crumbs
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
3/4 cup water
1 (1 ounce) envelope dry onion soup mix
1 (1 ounce) packet dry au jus mix

Pro Tip: For less sodium, opt for lower sodium soup and half the seasoning packets.

Instructions:

1. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, Italian seasoned bread crumbs, milk, and dry onion soup mix. Shape this mixture into 8 oval-shaped patties.

2. Dredge each patty in all-purpose flour until coated evenly.

3. In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Brown the patties on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side. Place the browned patties in the slow cooker.

4. In a mixing bowl, mix the cream of chicken soup, dry au jus mix, and water until smooth. Pour this mixture over the patties in the slow cooker.

5. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours, or until the patties are cooked through and tender.
